St Katharine’s House is a residential, care and nursing home for the elderly. It is registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection under the Care Standards Act 2000 for residents who are over the age of 60 years. It has 52 single residential rooms in the main House and a modern Nursing Wing with 24 en suite rooms.

Although under lay administration, we are part of the Community of St Mary the Virgin and, with a number of resident Sisters, we are also able to provide the spiritual and pastoral care that is so important to most people.
